Trenches

This week's song suggestions are centred around the message of God being our help in times of trouble.

It's easy to get overwhelmed when we face times of difficulty and it can certainly feel like God is being quiet and doesn't even care. On the contrary, God is working behind the scenes, making sure that we come out of the fire unscathed.

The first song, Trenches by Tauren Wells is a new song that I've been playing over and over.

The words of this song remind us that even in our most troubled times, God's love is fighting our battles for us. He guards us and covers us with His wings, protecting us from danger.

The second song is What I Know by Tricia Brock. For those of you who have watched God's Not Dead, you've probably heard this song before. I love how it talks about keeping your faith even when things don't seem to be going well. God's never going to let us go or leave us alone, especially when we're in the face of danger and sorrow.

We need to remember always that through the good and bad times, God's got us. Whether you feel His Presence or not, He is watching over you. All you need to do is keep trusting in Him.
