Still

Happy Sunday lovelies!

Today's song is Still by Hillsong Worship. It expresses total surrender to God in the midst of struggles and challenges. It talks about, how even in the storm, we must allow God to take full control of everything. It gets too difficult and too much to bear when we try and take matters into our own hands.

I'm reminded here of the story in the Bible where Jesus and His disciples were at sea during a storm. The waves began to crash against them and the boat shook as it was being tossed about. And while the fear of the disciples grew, Jesus peacefully slept through all the chaos. When they finally woke Him up, all He did was command the sea to be still, and it did exactly that. There was peace after all that trouble and chaos.

Jesus can do precisely that to the troubles and storms that you're facing in your life. If only you let Him be the one to take control. You have to surrender to Him and trust that even through the storm, He's guiding you through and will bring you out unscathed.

May your soul find rest and peace even in the troublesome times, and may you always remember that it is in this quietness and trust in God that you can make it through even the darkest of times.
