Hello Lovelies!
This week we're going to be talking about Eros Love; yes, that romantic type of love that most of us want to experience. I feel that as young people in today's society, we all want to be in relationships, have those couple goals we see all over Instagram and experience the type of 'true love' we read about and watch on TV and in movies. Not gonna lie, the amount of times I've wondered, "God when will that be me?" probably can't be counted.
I do believe that there is someone out there meant for each of us, and at the right time we'll meet them. But our goal in life shouldn't be to constantly look for someone that we think can complete us; our goal should be to find fulfillment in ourselves before we find it in another person.
And loving someone entails so much more than any of our ideas of love. I really don't think you can love someone until you go through so much with them and truly sacrifice so much for each other whilst still trusting and leaning on God through it all.
So for today's post, here are just a few quotes that give some ideas of Eros love. Hope they get you thinking.
Have a blessed day!

Love does not end; lust will end, passion will end, infatuation will end and obsession will end. But pure, sacrificial, true love will never end. ~EuniqueBlogs

Love is the flower; you've got to let it grow. ~John Lennon
5.
6.

7.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
~1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NIV)
