A New Milestone

Guess what everyone?

It's EuniqueBlogs' one year anniversary!

It's officially been a whole year since I started EuniqueBlogs and it's really been a whole journey.

I never knew if I'd be able to keep this up for a whole year and I won't lie, there were times when I didn't feel like writing or didn't know what to share with you guys. But I'm glad I never stopped altogether.

Writing has always been like an outlet for me because I prefer sharing my thoughts in written words more than in spoken words. So having this blog has helped me to not only share my views with others, but also made me realise certain things about myself. I could also encourage myself while trying to encourage you.

In the past, and even now sometimes, I've felt like I haven't accomplished as much in life as others my age have. I've always had so many ideas but either never went through with them or could never finish. So I really thank God for giving me the strength and motivation to start a blog and keep it going for a whole year. It really makes me feel like I'm doing something worthwhile and reminds me that I'm using my God-given talent to help others.

Aside God, EuniqueBlogs wouldn't have made it this far without you, my lovely readers. You guys honestly don't know how thankful I am that you read my posts and share your views as well. I've learnt quite a lot from all of you even as I shared my nuggets of wisdom. Your comments on how particular posts inspired you and helped you in situations you were going through also gave me the motivation to continue writing. I'm so grateful for each and every one of you.

With all that being said, I want to just encourage each of you by saying that, if there's an idea you have or something you want to start, go right ahead and do it. Stop giving yourself excuses and go for it.

There's honestly no time like the present. Don't let the days and weeks pass you by when you could have used all the opportunities God gave you to make a difference. It could be something as simple as learning an instrument (although as a beginner/intermediate guitarist I wouldn't say there's anything really simple about learning an instrument) to starting your own business.

It's never easy starting out, I know. And it will take a lot of determination, self-discipline and strength. But with God, all things are possible. The joy at the end of the journey certainly wipes away the worry and strife that came during it.

Share your ideas with someone/people you trust and who can essentially help you in one way or another. Being surrounded by the right people can really help encourage you to make the right decisions and take the right steps.

Planning is also really essential and makes this a whole lot easier, whether it's a financial plan for your business idea or a schedule on what days you want to upload videos on a new YouTube channel. This helps keep you disciplined in managing your resources, including your time and money.

Also, commit your ideas into God's hands. Seeking for confirmation from Him is always the number one thing to do. God can direct you in which steps to take or what you should and shouldn't do. He can also tell you whether or not it's time to start a new idea or not. It's good to go ahead and start on a goal now, but only if it's the right time. God might want you to wait a little while until the opportunity presents itself, so always seek His guidance in all things. Mind you, this is different from an opportunity coming up and you missing it because you weren't bold enough to take it.

Just remember that there's something special in each and every one of us, whether we know what it is or not. And if you keep hiding your talents, gifts and what you have to offer to the world, someone else out there might lose the help and inspiration you can give them.

You are a light, so continue to shine in every way you can.
