Hi lovely people!
So today, I wanted to do something a little different. I felt like this post could be one that's a little more engaging, so I want to hear more from you guys for today's post rather than me sharing something.
Basically, I was thinking of a few questions that we as believers or even non-believers who are curious about the Christian faith might not really think about, and I'm just as guilty when it comes to this. So I'm putting out five questions that I want you guys to personally answer. I'll give my answers in the next post but for today, I just want you guys to meditate on these and hopefully share your answers with me, either in the comments or through messages.
Here we go!
1. Why are you a Christian, and if not, why are you not?
For those who aren't Christians or don't really believe in/know much about God, bear in mind that this question is simply asking if there's something that stops you from believing in Him or if maybe there's a reason you have doubts or aren't quite sure in what you believe.
2. What talent/behavioural trait/skill do you have that you think you are meant to use to impact others?
3. What's one thing you'd like God to use you to do?
4. How would you answer the age old question: why does a good God allow so much suffering?
5. If you could be any Bible character, who would you be and why?

First thought was Jesus because He was perfect...then I considered the cross part of His life plus how we're all working on being like Him anyway...
Second thought David. He's a personal favorite. Cute, talented, productive, loved by God, loved God too. Definitely David. Except the Bethsheba part..
God allows so much suffering:
1. Because sometimes we don't ask and trust Him to do something about it
2. "When He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold". That's what it takes sometimes to bring out our junk and mold us into who He wants us to be.
3. A million other reasons I don't know about :)
I would like God to use me as His specimen. Sounds odd, but I've seen a couple of those people I really admire..
I'd like Him to use me to lead other people to Him, and make people's lives better
I am a Christian because :
1. I was born in a Christian family (honestly).
2. I have learned (still learning) and realised that Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father.
3. In view of that, I don't want to miss Heaven, or what God wants me to do on earth.
4. God is gracious. And He loves me. (still learning that too). I think that's the biggest reason.
