He replied, “You give them something to eat.” They answered, “We have only five loaves of bread and two fish—unless we go and buy food for all this crowd.”
Luke 9:13
After the disciples suggested that Jesus disperse the crowd so that they could find something to eat, Jesus told them that they should give them food. He wanted them to offer what they had before he could help the people.
I think sometimes we see someone that is in need of help, and we think that there's not much we can do because we're not rich enough or important enough or even smart enough. So the little that we do have to give, we keep it instead of sharing to those who are in desperate need of help.
Don't ever belittle your sacrifice. Don't ever think that an action of kindness isn't large enough; as long as it is genuine, God will turn that little act into a grand gesture. He just wants you to give what you have and He'll do the rest.
God uses us to help others, so it's important that we do our part in showing kindness, love and compassion towards others.
Say blessed and stay a blessing.
