The Luke Challenge Day 15

I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

Luke 15:7

The whole of this chapter basically talks about repentance and turning back to God. It highlights God's fatherly love and how he searches for us when we feel lost and in despair. He never gives up on us but rather keeps looking and waiting for us to return to Him.

As children of God, we have been saved, and for that we must be grateful. But there are so many people around us that don't know about the Saving Power of Christ. It is our job as soul winners to rescue the perishing souls.

It's easy to give this advice but can be quite difficult to do. What usually holds me and I'm sure with others also, is fear. Fear of what others might say. Fear of what they may think of us. And fear of rejection. But all God says is that we should go and spread His Gospel. The rest is up to Him.

Heaven rejoices whenever a new soul is won for God's Kingdom, and we should be delighted to help make it happen.

Stay blessed and stay a blessing.
