Proverbs 16:3

Commit to the Lord whatever you do and He will establish your plans.

Proverbs 16:3

It's good to have plans and dreams; it's good to be ambitious and set goals for ourselves that we strive to achieve. But the truth is, if we don't commit all these plans and goals into God's hands, we may struggle to reach our target.

Proverbs 16:3 is telling us that we should not only commit our goals into God's hands, but our every action and decision. God knows our every thought and deed; He knows our desires too. He wants what's best for us and in order to give us the best, we must allow Him to steer the wheel of our lives.

Yes, God knows our every action. But He still wants us to tell Him of our intended plans. He wants us to talk to Him so that He can guide us in the way that we should go. After all, the path that we want to take might not necessarily lead us to the place we want to go. There may be dangers up ahead that God wants to prevent us from experiencing.

So when you wake up every morning, thank God for new life and then commit your day into His hands. Before you make an important decision, commit it into His hands. Commit even your relationships, school and career into His hands, that He may direct and guide you into making the right decisions.
